Assistant Professor Qamar Thamer Sabri, a faculty member at the College of Political Science, University of Nahrain, published a scientific paper titled “Geo-Economic Utilization of Economic Resources in Foreign Policy: Water as a Model” in the Cambridge Journal of Scientific Research, which is published by the Cambridge Center for Research and Conferences.

The research focuses on the importance of water resources as a strategic tool in foreign policy-making, as they can be a factor of stability and development if managed properly, or a cause of tensions and conflicts if misused. The research recommends the need to develop fair international water policies to prevent the exploitation of water resources as a tool for political or economic pressure.”
