The activities of the first cultural week were launched at Al-Nahrain University, organized by the General Secretariat of the Imam Hussein Shrine in cooperation with Al-Nahrain University, under the slogan (Universities and their Role in Promoting the Requirements of Intellectual Security), which is held under the auspices of the Holy Imam Hussein Shrine, for the period from 9-13 February 2025 and in Al-Nahrain Hall for Conferences and Seminars in the College of Engineering.
The ceremony included the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, after which he delivered a speechThe spokesman for the Holy Imam Hussein Shrine delivered his speech in which he explained the role of education in enhancing intellectual awareness among university and university youth, stressing the support of the rational authority for the educational and pedagogical movement in Iraq.
The ceremony included the presentation of a video clip explaining the role of the wise authority in preserving the security of Iraq through the sacred fatwa from His Eminence the Supreme Authority, Sayyid Ali al-Sistani, may God protect him, as well as the distribution of flower bouquets to the attendees on the occasion of the birth of the moon of Muhammad upon them.To attend on the occasion of the birth of the moons of Muhammad, peace be upon them, and recite a song in love for them and adherence to their doctrine and thought.
The ceremony was attended by a group of academic, religious and political figures.
