Assistant Professor Dr. Issam Asaad Al-Kaabi, teaching at the College of Political Science at Al-Nahrain University, participated in the meetings of the National Committee for Writing the Youth, Peace and Security Strategy emanating from United Nations Resolution 2250.
To enhance the role of youth and support their participation in the process of building peace and security through programs and activities that will bring about a positive change in rejecting extremism and violence and giving priority to the language of dialogueThe meeting ended with Dr. Issam Asaad being assigned to prepare the National Strategy for Youth, Peace and Security 2025-2030
The committee formed by Diwani’s order is headed by the Prime Minister’s Advisor for Youth Affairs, Dr. Qasim Al-Zalmi, and its membership includes representatives of all ministries in the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government, and aims to prepare for building the national strategy.
