A lecturer at the College of Political Science at Al-Nahrain University, Professor Dr. Riyad Mahdi Abdel Kazem, published a scientific research in the Journal of Integrity and Transparency for Research and Studies, issued by the Federal Integrity Commission/Department of Planning and Research, in its seventeenth issue.
The research was titled “The Role of Official and Informal Institutions in Providing a Supportive Environment for the Political Will to Combat Corruption,” which dealt with a comprehensive study of the role of political will as a decisive factor in combating and eliminating corruption.The research highlighted the importance of integrating the efforts of formal and informal institutions to provide the necessary support for anti-corruption programmes, policies and strategies.
