Participation of Professor Dr. Qasim Muhammad Abdul Ali in the Fifteenth International Conference on Sustainable Development in the Sultanate of Oman
Professor Dr. Qasim Muhammad Abdul Ali, Professor of International Relations at the College of Political Science at Al-Nahrain University, participated in the 15th International Conference on Sustainable Development, organized by Sohar University in the Sultanate of Oman during the period from 4 to 5 December 2024.During the conference, Dr. Qasim presented a joint research entitled: “Sustainable development and human rights: reality and ambition,” in which he addressed the challenges facing achieving sustainable development and the extent of their connection to promoting human rights, while presenting future visions for achieving ambitions in this field.
It has resulted in valuable scientific discussions that highlighted the importance of combining sustainable development goals and respect for human rights to achieve a more inclusive and sustainable global society.
