Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Zuhair Jassim, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs at the College of Political Science at Al-Nahrain University, published a scientific research entitled “The Role of the Gulf Cooperation Council Countries in Achieving the General Goals of the Belt and Road Initiative,” in Issue No. 91-90 of 2024 of the Journal of Political Thought.
The research addressed the importance of the economic partnership between the Arab Gulf states and China, especially within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, with a focus on vital economic sectors such as energy and oil.And petrochemicals. He highlighted the positive interaction between Gulf and Chinese policies to achieve common interests and promote sustainable development in the region.
