The tenth of Muharram was just a day of the year written in ink.
Then Ashura came and wrote it with the blood of martyrdom and made it one of the eternal days of God.
Karbala was just a spot in the desert, so Al-Hussein, peace be upon him, made it the beacon of the believers and the qiblah of the free and honorable, the revolutionaries and the reformers.
Al-Hussein gave time greatness and immortality
The place has majesty and presence, and it wrote for humanity an epic of pride, dignity, sacrifice, freedom, and pride.
Just as mountains stabilize and preserve the earth,
Al-Hussein’s blood preserved the message of Islam from deviation and extinction and freed the believers from the shackles of humiliation and enslavement. Al-Hussein was truly one of the pillars of the religion and a guardian of the law of the Master of Messengers. The swords of the enemies besieged Hussein, peace be upon him, for a few days in Karbala (the place)
It ended with his martyrdom on the tenth of Muharram (time).
The result was that Al-Hussein, peace be upon him, besieged these swords at all times and places.
And here we are, 14 centuries later, living the Ashura commemoration as if it had occurred yesterday.
Its banner will continue to fly in every corner of the earth until the Day of Judgment
Death lied, for Hussein is immortal
Whenever I create time, it is renewed
Peace be upon you, Aba Abdullah!
May God reward you and all of us with this affliction
