Al-Nahrain University, in cooperation with the Popular Mobilization Authority, held its annual memorial ceremony to celebrate the martyrdom of the victory leaders in the Grand Conference Hall, in the presence of the Dean of Political Science College, Professor Dr. Osama Murtada Baqir Al-Saeedi, representing the President of Al-Nahrain University, Professor Dr. Ali Al-Shawi. The festival was attended by His Excellency the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Professor Ahmed Al-Asadi, and a number of leaders of the Holy Popular Mobilization Authority, professors and students of the university. The Dean of the College of Political Science introduced a speech in which he mentioned the positions of the heroic martyr leaders and their role in the liberation wars, followed by a number of activities that all expressed the status and great sacrifice made by the leaders of victory in defending Iraq and the sovereignty of its lands until they attained martyrdom, may God be pleased on them.
