Wadaa, a lecturer at the College of Political Science, Al-Nahrain University, published a research paper titled &#8220;Theory of Popular Sovereignty and Legitimacy&#8221; in the Ashour Journal of Legal and Political Sciences, issued by the Iraqi Association of Legal Sciences \ud83d\udcda.The study discussed the concept of popular sovereignty, where state power originates from the people, and legitimacy is based on people&#8217;s consent. It highlighted that government authority stems from the people&#8217;s will, exercised through elected representatives.
