Al-Saeedi. The lecture, &#8220;Investing in Sports for Peacebuilding&#8221;, was presented by Asst. Lecturer Saif Nabhan, Human Rights Unit Coordinator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The lecture highlighted sports as a tool for supporting peacebuilding efforts locally, uniting individuals around shared goals, and promoting respect and communication among diverse groups. It emphasized building positive social relationships through sports, reducing tensions, and fostering dialogue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The speaker noted that instilling values like sportsmanship, teamwork, and mutual respect, along with communication skills, can effectively reduce conflicts and promote a culture of peace.
