{"id":6360,"date":"2026-03-09T05:54:49","date_gmt":"2026-03-09T05:54:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pol.nahrainuniv.edu.iq\/en\/?p=6360"},"modified":"2026-03-09T05:58:03","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T05:58:03","slug":"a-masters-thesis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pol.nahrainuniv.edu.iq\/en\/a-masters-thesis\/","title":{"rendered":"A master&#8217;s thesis"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A master&#8217;s thesis was discussed at the College of Political Science, Al-Nahrain University, titled &#8220;Drug Trafficking and Abuse and its Impact on National Security in Iraq after 2003&#8221; by Ola Ayad Hashem, from the Department of Political Systems and Public Policies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The discussion committee consisted of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prof. Dr. Mustafa Farouk Majid, Chairman<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Asst. Prof. Dr. Zaid Hassan Ali, Member<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Asst. Prof. Dr. Osama Abdul Ali Khalaf, Member<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prof. Dr. Hisham Hikmat Abdul-Sattar, Member and Supervisor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The thesis analyzed the phenomenon of drug trafficking and abuse in Iraq after 2003, as one of the security and social challenges facing the state, identifying the political, security, economic, and social factors that contributed to its spread.
