Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Political Science at Al-Nahrain University, Prof. Dr. Osama Murtada Baqir Al-Saidi, the Research Unit, in collaboration with the Arabic Language Safety Unit, the Library Division, and the Student Activities Division, organized the Aqraa Cultural Festival at the Civilizations of the Two Rivers Hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The ceremony was attended by the Assistant Deans for Administrative and Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Abbas Saadoun Rafat and Prof. Dr. Haidar Zuhair Jasim, heads of scientific departments, faculty members, and students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Scientific Assistant Dean emphasized the importance of reading in education, stating that nations progress through science and knowledge. A video film was presented featuring faculty members sharing their experiences with books and reading, highlighting influential titles that shaped their perspectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event included speeches, poems, cultural competitions, and poetry readings by talented students. The attendees then visited the book exhibition, which featured dozens of books on various subjects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
