A scientific course under the auspices of the Dean of the College of Political Sciences at Al-Nahrain University, Professor Dr. Osama Murtada Baqir Al-Saidi, and within the framework of striving to promote a culture of occupational safety and spread health awareness among teaching and administrative staff, the Computer Laboratory in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit organized a training course entitled “Public Health and Occupational Safety Requirements”. The course targeted the college’s employees and lecturers, believing in the importance of a safe and healthy work environment in achieving optimal institutional performance. The course was held from the 20th to the 21st of this month at the Central Computer Laboratory hall in the college. The course was presented by: Chief Engineer Ali Farouk, Head of the Services Unit Mr. Ali Muhammad Awad, and the Head of Civil Defense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The course aimed to introduce participants to the concepts of public health and the foundations of occupational safety, develop the skills of workers in how to act in emergency situations, enhance prevention measures within the academic work environment, and raise awareness of the safe use of office and electronic devices and equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
