Professor Dr. Israa Alaa Al-Din Nouri, a lecturer at the College of Political Sciences at Al-Nahrain University, participated in the first International Conference for Women, held under the title “Women in the Era of Change – Empowerment, Leadership, and Impact.” The conference was organized by the Al-Qusour Foundation for Sustainable Development and Public Services, under the auspices of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers\/Department of Non-Governmental Organizations, on April 27-28, 2025. The conference featured Iraqi, Arab, and international figures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The conference included panel discussions featuring pioneering women leaders from various Arab countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Kuwait, Lebanon, Palestine, Tunisia, Morocco, and Saudi Arabia. The sessions discussed the role of women in society, ways to empower them, and enhance their economic, cultural, social, and political roles. Successful women’s projects and initiatives in various sectors were also presented, highlighting experiences, challenges, and opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The aim was to shed light on the role of women in different sectors and promote their effective participation in society through panel discussions and specialized workshops on women’s empowerment, leadership, and social, cultural, and political impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
