Prof. Dr. Saja Fadel Abbas, from the College of Political Science at Al-Nahrain University, published a scientific article titled &#8220;The Impact of Social Media on the Weakening of Family Relationships&#8221; in Al-Baynaa Al-Jadida newspaper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The study examined the social impacts of modern communication means, affirming that these tools, which are among the most prominent outcomes of technological advancements in the communications and information sectors, have contributed to weakening family bonds, particularly among young people who are the most active users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The article highlights the negative dimensions of excessive use of these means and calls for raising family and social awareness about the risks of emotional detachment among family members in the rapidly evolving digital world.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A faculty member, Asst.
